Wyoming: Defense of marriage resolution passes a House committee

The resolution basically would ban gay marriage in Wyoming if voters approved it in the 2012 general election. But the latest version of the resolution leaves room for future legislators to recognize "civil relationships," said Sen. Curt Meier, R-LaGrange, a sponsor of the legislation.
