Editorial: No special protection for Prop. 8 backers
We have heard nothing that convinces us that opponents of gay marriage require or deserve protections any greater than those contributing to other controversial measures, which have filled California's ballot for decades. Gun laws, abortion rights, property rights and other emotional issues have made regular appearances on the ballots....
